When using Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), or seeking reimbursement from private insurance or other medical funding programs, it's important to have the correct documentation. ABUniverse can provide several types of documents to assist with these needs.

Documents ABU Can Issue

  • Itemised Receipt: This receipt includes a detailed list of items purchased, including product names, quantities, and prices.

  • FSA/HSA Receipt: This receipt is formatted to meet the requirements for FSA and HSA claims, showing necessary purchase details.

  • Commercial Invoice: This document is often used for international orders and includes detailed purchase information similar to an itemised receipt.

How to Request Documents

You can request these documents either before or after placing your order. Here’s how:

  • Before Placing an Order: During the checkout process, you can specify your need for a specific type of receipt or invoice in the order notes section.

  • After Placing an Order: Contact our customer service team with your order number and specify the type of document you need. You can reach us via the contact form on our website.

Processing Time

Once requested, it typically takes 1-3 business days to process and send the requested documentation. We strive to provide these documents as quickly as possible to meet your needs.

Limitations

Please note that ABU cannot bill insurance companies or funding programs directly. We provide the necessary documentation for you to submit claims or requests for reimbursement on your own behalf.

My package was returned to ABU: what happens next?

If your package was returned to ABU, it may be due to an incorrect address, uncollected package, or using a PO Box with a non-USPS service. Reshipping costs are the customer's responsibility. ABUCares will contact you after the package is returned. You can request a refund instead of reshipping.

I have contacted ABUCares but havent received a response yet

If you haven't received a response from ABUCares, check for an automated confirmation email with a ticket number. Expect a response within one business day for general inquiries. If there's no reply after two days, contact us with your ticket number. Resubmit your ticket if no automated response was received.

Chargebacks and payment disputes: what happens to my order

If you have concerns about a charge, contact ABUCares before disputing with your bank. Filing a chargeback freezes or cancels your order and any pending refund. Chargebacks can affect your ABU account status and future orders. If a dispute was opened by mistake, contact your bank to withdraw it and inform ABUCares.
